  • That Council approve DP001811 to authorize development approval under the Blackcomb Land Use Contract allowing deck additions at Unit 5, 4700 Glacier Drive and require Wildfire Protection as shown in architectural plans Cover and A2 dated November 23, 2021 and A1 dated April 29, 2021, all prepared by Drafthub, and attached as Appendix B to Administrative Report to Council No. 21-135; and further

    That Council direct staff to advise the applicant that tree thinning and limbing in close proximity to the deck additions as shown in Appendix C to Administrative Report to Council No. 21-135 be completed as a condition of development permit issuance to the satisfaction of Resort Municipality of Whistler FireSmart Supervisor.

  • That Council direct staff to proceed with developing the recommended approach to administer and regulate cannabis retail in Whistler described in this Administrative Report 21-137, including a policy framework, a Temporary Use Permit framework, bylaw amendments, and a stakeholder and community engagement strategy.

  • That Council consider giving first and second readings to “Land Use Contract Termination Bylaw (4612 Blackcomb Way) No. 2324, 2021”; and

    That Council authorize staff to schedule a Public Hearing for “Land Use Contract Termination Bylaw (4612 Blackcomb Way) No. 2324, 2021” and to provide notice of the Public Hearing; and

    That Council authorize staff, subject to adoption of “Land Use Contract Termination Bylaw (4612 Blackcomb Way) No. 2324, 2021”, to give written notice of termination to the Registrar of Land Titles, pursuant to section 548(6) of the Local Government Act; and further

    That Council authorize staff, subject to adoption of “Land Use Contract Termination Bylaw (4612 Blackcomb Way) No. 2324, 2021”, to give written notice of termination to the affected property owners pursuant to section 549 of the Local Government Act.
