• That the Committee of the Whole (COTW) appoint Councillor R. Forsyth as Chair over the COTW Meeting for October 22, 2024.

The Resort Municipality of Whistler is grateful to be on the shared, unceded territory of the Líl̓wat People, known in their language as Lil̓wat7úl, and the Squamish People, known in their language as Sḵwx̱wú7mesh. We respect and commit to a deep consideration of their history, culture, stewardship and voice.

ADOPTION OF AGENDA

• That the Committee of the Whole (COTW) adopt the COTW Meeting agenda of October 22, 2024.

ADOPTION OF MINUTES

• That the Committee of the Whole (COTW) adopt the COTW Meeting minutes of October 8, 2024.

PRESENTATIONS

6.1

Draft 2025 Operating Budget Overview Report No. W24-007 File No. 1630-20-2025

A presentation by municipal staff regarding the Resort Municipality of Whistler draft Operating Budget for 2025. 

• That the Committee of the Whole (COTW) recommend to Council that the proposed Operating Budget as described in COTW Report No. W24-007, including Appendix A, be brought forward for further consideration as part of the annual Budget Guidelines Report at the December 3, 2024 Regular Council Meeting.

REPORT AND TERMINATE

• That the Committee of the Whole (COTW) report their recommendations to Council at the November 5, 2024 Regular Council Meeting and terminate the COTW Meeting of October 22, 2024.
